Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Wallet Top-Up Refunds
- Wallet top-ups, once approved by the admin and credited to your wallet, are non-refundable to your bank account or UPI.
- The wallet balance can only be used for booking movie tickets on the HMT Cinema platform.
- If a top-up request is rejected by the admin (e.g., payment not received), no amount will be debited from your wallet.
- If a top-up is pending, please wait for admin verification. If your payment was deducted from your bank but the top-up is not approved within 48 hours, contact us for resolution.
2. Ticket Cancellation by User
- Currently, ticket cancellations by the user are not supported through the platform.
- Once a ticket is booked and wallet balance is deducted, the booking is considered final.
- In exceptional circumstances, you may contact us for assistance, and cancellations may be processed at the sole discretion of HMT Cinema management.
3. Show Cancellation by HMT Cinema
If a show is cancelled by HMT Cinema due to technical issues, low attendance, or any other reason:
- A full refund of the ticket amount will be credited back to your HMT Cinema wallet.
- The refund will reflect in your wallet within 24 hours of the cancellation.
- You will be notified of the cancellation and refund via the platform.
4. Show Rescheduling
If a show is rescheduled, your existing booking will remain valid for the new timing. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled show, a wallet refund may be processed upon request — subject to management's approval.
5. Incorrect or Duplicate Bookings
- In case of a duplicate booking due to a technical glitch, the duplicate amount will be refunded to your wallet after verification.
- For incorrect bookings (wrong show time, wrong date), cancellations are at the discretion of HMT Cinema management.
6. Coupon & Promotional Credits
- Bonus credits received through coupons or promotions during wallet top-ups are non-refundable.
- If a top-up is refunded due to show cancellation, only the original paid amount will be refunded, not the promotional bonus.

8. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us with:
- Your registered email address or phone number.
- Booking ID or transaction details.
- Reason for the refund request.

HMT Cinema reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
